Welcome to Joyful Noise Drums & Percussion. We are a small, local,
family owned business serving the greater Des Moines area, as well as
Knoxville, Iowa. Joyful Noise has been in business since 2003, where
we started with a small location in Knoxville. Our success, driven by good products, and
great customer service, allowed us to open a location in West Des
Moines in 2007. We've continued to grow and thrive in this new
location, and look forward to expanding our store further in the future.
Drums are our specialty, but it doesn't stop there. We have kits,
individual drums, hand percussion, a fine selection of cymbals,
accessories, and parts. We also carry a select array of guitars, amps
and associated accessories. Tim, the founder of Joyful Noise, also
loves to work on and service kits. Need heads replaced, drums tuned,
a shell fixed up, something done with that squeaky kick pedal? Bring
your hardware on in, and we'll get things in shape for you.
As if that wasn't enough, we also offer lessons. Joyful Noise is
quickly becoming the premier drum lesson location in the greater Des
Moines area, with several instructors with at least 10 years of
experience each. We have four fully stocked lesson rooms that you can
even rent practice time in if available. Any music store can have
instructors, but at Joyful Noise we take pride in not just having
great musicians teaching our students, but also in having instructors
that love to teach and share their craft as mentors. Anyone can
instruct, it takes a special talent to teach, and we believe we have
